Job title: Senior Engineer (Electrical and Building Services)
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £40-£70 Umbrella
Location: Devonport
Hours of work: 36 hours 4 Days per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Degree qualified or have significant experience in nuclear, marine electrical design or highly regulated civils environments
- Able to gain SC clearance
- Background and experience in design
- Ability to work with works packages
- Working knowledge of engineering computer applications
- Project design lifecycle experience
Ideally applicants should also have:

- Chartership status

Role information:

- Design a safe electrical system that works across a complicated regulated environment
- Deliver electrical services in line with project scope
- Check designs and reports to ensure they meet the project requirements
- Solve technical problems in designs
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Support the development, construction and installation of facilities to ensure they comply with design specifications
- Ensure health and safety procedures and legislations are adhered to
