Job Description

Job title: EC&I Design Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £56,000-£61,000 per year
Location: Preston - Hybrid working available
Hours of work: 37 hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Degree in relevant field or significant experience in an EC&I field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
- Good understanding of EC&I engineering principles
- Good working knowledge of full project lifecycle
- Significant demonstrable experience in EC&I project delivery

Role information:

- Oversee EC&I engineering designs from concept to initial and detailed design phases
- Ensure functional and nuclear safety requirements are met
- Ensure designs are adherent to national legislation
- Ensure design delivery meets preset requirements
- See the designs through to final installation and handover
- Produce engineering drawings, calculations, specifications and design and handover documentation
